ABG Ster-Projekt IT integrator surprises with high sales

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – ABG Ster-Projekt, the IT integrator from Prokom group, had PLN 25m of net income while sales grew substantially in 2005.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – ABG Ster-Projekt, the IT integrator from Prokom group, had PLN 25m of net income while sales grew substantially in 2005.

The company had PLN 373m of sales. The management forecast PLN 300m (EUR 79.5m) only. The net income, however, was the close to forecasts and amounted to PLN 25m. In 2004, the company had PLN 330m of sales and PLN 37m of net loss.

“We plan this year that our results will improve by 20 percent his year. Sales from software will increase by over 37 percent in 2006”, Dariusz Brzeski, ABG Ster-Projekt CEO said.

In 2005, software constituted 20 percent of sales.

“The results met expectations. The promised changes in sales structure will improve the margin and net income in 2006”, Przemyslaw Sawala-Uryasz, CA IB analyst commented.

ABG Ster-Projekt takes part in several big tenders, including IACS, the system supervising subsidies for farmers, NATO contracts are to grow from PLN 10m of sales by 20-40 percent, and the company hopes to win a tender for IACS peer in Romania worth over EUR 20m.
