Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Action wants to become Poland’s biggest computer distributor again. It needs PLN 50-60m (EUR 12.7-15.2m) from the stock market to reach the goal.

Action’s management plans an IPO and listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

“We submitted our prospectus in the middle of April. I think the issue will be conducted this year”, Piotr Bielinski, Action’s CEO said.

He refused to say, how many shares would be offered. Last year the company said it wanted to raise PLN 50-60m in the stock market. Present plans are similar.

Action used to be the leader on the Polish market of computer distribution but today it has 17 percent, less than ABC Data. The new funds are to change the situation.

“We are not thinking about acquisitions. It is possible but we are not talking to anyone. We want to develop organically. We need money to operate for a larger scale, to realize bigger orders”, the CEO said.

Action plans to become the leader within two years.Since the middle of 2004 to the middle of 2005, the company had PLN 1.33 billion of sales and PLN 14.2m of net loss.
