Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Agros Nova, the Polish juice producer, which recently has had 1 percent of the Bulgarian beverages market, is arguing with its former distributor Euro Market Bulgaria. The clash concerns the rights to two brands – Zdravko and Aksamit – promoted by Agros Nova. Euro Market claims that Agros Nova stole the Zdravko brand created by the Bulgarian company. “I only lost doing business with Agros Nova. They use patterns belonging to me. Moreover, Agros Nova broke agreement with my company in 2004 failing to pay out any claims”, Konrad Rejzmunc, Euro Market CEO said. “We have ended the agreement because Mr Rejzmund failed to obey its conditions”, Joanna Bancerowska, spokesperson in Agros Nova riposted. She added that Zdravko is peer of Pysio, the juice sold by Agros Nova in Poland. “It is the same with brands Mniamko, Zadorczik, Fredi or Skanukas in other markets”, Joanna Bancerowska said.

The two companies quarrel about another brand: Aksamitny. Konrad Rejzmund, via its subsidiary Millenium Group, registered a patent of Aksamit brand. “The sales of Aksamit juices were stopped. Bank accounts of the present distributor of Agros Nova were blocked with EUR 41,000 on them. The distributor will pay a fine. The case is in the prosecutor’s office in Sofia”, Konrad Rejzmund said. The Polish company claims Konrad Rejzmund is not the owner of the sign. “We have applied in the Bulgarian patent office to cancel the registration made by Millenium Group. We have agreements with marketing agencies which designed the signs to prove that we have rights to them”, Joanna Bancerowska said.Poland/Enterprises/Beverages
