Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Andersen Business Consulting, the consulting company with headquarters in Warsaw, has recently transformed into a joint stock company. This is part of its strategy to go public.

We do thing about an IPO but no decision has been made as yet, Dariusz Nachyla, Andersen BC CEO said.

The company has origins in the global Andersen company which several years ago split and in the majority of countries merged with other consulting companies. In Poland, the department was acquired by ABC Polska founded by Andersen’s partners. In 2004, they had PLN 56.4m (EUR 14.6m) of sales and PLN 5.6m of net income.

For the time being, we have enough funds. An issue is our idea in case we see a chance for interesting investment, Dariusz Nachyla said.

He means an acquisition of a company from a different branch or entering foreign market. According to Dariusz Nachyla, an IPO would make sense in case of an investment worth at least PLN 20m. There is one consulting company in the Warsaw Stock Exchange: DGA Doradztwo Gospodarcze. It was listed in 2004 and raised PLN 15.5m.

(PLN 1 = EUR 0.259)
