Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Austrian construction company will build shopping malls and homes in Poland.

Raiffeisen evolution project development (RE), the Austrian company operating in Central and Eastern Europe, said it would increase the rate of investing in Poland.

“Within three years, we want to spend EUR 200m. The majority, or 70 percent, will be spend to build shopping malls, the rest – to build homes”, Maciej Krenek, RE member of the board said.

The developer, a member of Raiffeisen group, builds its shopping malls under Ferio brand. It has built two centers, another one is being built. The company plans to launch 2-3 malls annually. The homebuilding projects under Residea brand provide for 1,400 flats in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw and Poznan within three years.

 

RE operates in 12 countries. 20 percent of its funds is invested in Poland.
