In three years’ time, all laundries will have the common brand 5aSec”, Henryk Boryka, 5aSec CEO said. The value of the transaction has not been revealed. 5aSec took a credit to finance the acquisition conducted solely in the Polish market (in other countries, both companies remain rivals).

“We are planning to at least double the number of outlets within five years. Next year, we are going to hold talks to acquire other, smaller chains”, Henryk Boryka assured. In Poland, there are two other laundry networks: Panda (30 outlets) and Perfect Clean (20). 5aSec is interested in those companies. The 5aSec group was founded nearly 40 years ago in France. It has 1,300 outlets in over 30 countries. In Poland, the company has been present since 1999. It had PLN 34m of sales and PLN 7.3m of EBITDA in 2004. This year, it plans PLN 40m of sales and PLN 11m of EBITDA.(PLN 1 = EUR 0.256)(USD 1 = EUR 0.825)
