Bumar will train Iraqi soldiers for USD 25m

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Iraqi soldiers are coming to Poland. Bumar will train them.

Bumar, the holding comprising of over ten military producers controlled by the state, has its first Iraqi contract in two years.

“The contract provides for schooling of soldiers. Bumar companies deliver equipment for the schooling. The contract is worth USD 25m”, Roma Sarzynska, Bumar spokeswoman said.

The contract may be conducted within 18 months.

“We are about to finish the other Iraqi orders worth USD 400m”, Roma Sarzynska added. 

The new CEO of Bumar should be chosen tomorrow. Tomasz Dembski, ex-candidate of the state to head LOT flag carrier and Waldemar Skowron, the temporary CEO are the most probable candidates. The previous CEO, Roman Baczynski, was fired.
