Company from Ropczyce group improves results

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Mostostal-Energomontaz construction company which plans an IPO, invests, increases profitability and looks for capital.

Mostostal-Energomontaz, a subsidiary of listed Ropczyce, founded in the merger of Mostostal Krakow, Mostostal Krakow Produkcja and Energomontaz Zachod had PLN 3.8m (EUR 1.1m) of gross income in the first quarter of this year, or 50 percent more than in the same period of last year. Sales dropped from PLN 64.9m to PLN 60.7m.

“I’m satisfied with these results. I’m happy about 60-percent increase of profitability. We forecast PLN 12.5m of gross income and PLN 300m of sales, and these forecasts are not endangered”, Iwona Dybal, Mostostal-Energomontaz CEO said.

This year, the company plans to launch a plant producing steel constructions in Gliwice (a project worth PLN 25m). It is also going to increase its sales offices in Krakow and Zabrze. The company considers acquisitions, especially among producers. It may raise funds on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Decisions will be made in upcoming months.
