Dominet Bank, one of Poland’s smallest financial institutions, is going to double the value of credits granted this year.

“We want to give credits worth PLN 1.1 billion. We have PLN 250m (EUR 63.7m) after the first four months, the end of the year is usually the best period so I believe the plan will be fulfilled”, Dorota Cacek, Dominet Bank CEO said.

The company which has so far on car credits (this year PLN 135m) and cash credits, is going to attract students.

“We are implementing personal accounts adjusted for students who are very promising clients to all banks. We are present in many academic centers”, Dorota Cacek said.

The company wants to attract clients from smaller towns.

“We want to offer all basic financial products, accounts, simple credits, credit cards. We are also working over an offer for microentrepreneurs, which should be developed next year”, Dorota Cacek said.

The bank wants to get 150,000 clients this year and have 550,000 in December. Today, it has 446,000 clients. At the beginning of this year, Dominet had 140 outlets, now it has 149 and is going to add 20-24 ones till year-end. The assets of the bank amount to under PLN 100m.
