Giants are in the focus of stock investors again

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Today, stock giants attracted most trade. The WIG20 index ended 2,773.21 or 1.67 percent up.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Today, stock giants attracted most trade. The WIG20 index ended 2,773.21 or 1.67 percent up.

The following stock rose most out of blue chips: TP telecom, PKO BP bank, PKN Orlen fuel giant and KGHM copper producer. GTC was the only WIG20 component with smaller capitalization to be traded with as much eager. The homebuilder added 3.8 percent to its new all-time record of PLN 287.5. The blue chips stock worth PLN 720m changed hands, PLN 27m less then on Tuesday when the index fell. Grupa Lotos fuel company and PGNiG gas monopoly, which yesterday jumped without reasons, fell 2.8 and 1.4 percent respectively.

Among small caps, Jago and Comarch gained on recommendations. BZ WBK recommended Jago stock to buy with target price of PLN 3.9. Shares ended at PLN 3.59, or 16.2 percent up. CA IB raised its recommendation for Comarch computer company from ‘keep’ to ‘buy’ with PLN 120 as target price. The stock ended at PLN 111.5, or 10.4 percent up.
