Good moods on the Warsaw Stock Exchange

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - The first trading in May on  the Warsaw Stock Exchange ended with increases of all indices. sWIG80 and mWIG40 gained most and ended at their new records.

WIG and WIG20 rose below 1 percent. TP telecom rose 1.79 percent on the news that the dividend of PLN 1.4 a share would be paid and that the company would spend PLN 700mto buy back its shares. KGHM copper producer added 1.87 percent on the growing copper prices. PGNiG gas monopoly jumped 7.2 percent after one of foreign brokers revealed its recommendation to buy the company's stock with PLN 6.13 as a target price. The company signed contract and will take part in the Baltic Pipe project.
Getin gained nearly 5 percent on the news that Leszek Czarnecki had increased his stake. Among small and medium-sized companies, construction sector drew attention of investors again. Energopol was one of the best performer after it had signed contract with Alstom.
