Goodrich builds its factory

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu – The US concern has
promised to build a plant near Rzeszow for PLN 131m (EUR 32.4m) and employ 250
people. The project will be bigger.
“Last week, Goodrich received a permission to build a plant in Euro-Park
Mielec special economic zone. The company pledged to invest at least PLN 131m
and create 250 new jobs till the end of 2012”, Mariusz Bledowski, the zone’s
According to “PB” sources, when Goodrich had applied for a grant from the
Polish government, it had promised PLN 229.6m and 300 jobs.
“The company will build a plant in Trzebownisko near Rzeszow-Jasionka
airport. Construction works will start next year”, Mariusz Bledowski
The companies which have decided to invest in the zone this year include,
among others, Ball Packaging (PLN 200m of investment), BorgWarner Turbo Systems
(PLN 45.3m),or MTU Aero Engines (PLN 248.5m.
