Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The German company has good results in Poland and plans further investment.

Henkel develops its capacity in Poland. The German company has increased sales in all four segments of its market, i.e. cosmetics, construction materials, washing powders and technology. This year, Henkel Polska will invest PLN 18m (EUR 4.7m). The company, which has six plants and employs 1,100 people, has launched two additional projects.

“The plant in Raciborz will double production of components used to produce detergents. It will become the major deliverer for Central and Eastern Europe excluding Russia”, Janusz Golebiowski, Henkel Polska CEO said.

The project should be concluded in the 3rd-4th quarter of 2007 and be worth PLN 17.5m.

In spring 2007, the Bielsko-Biala plant will also double production. This project is worth PLN 5m. 92 percent of the capacity goes for Fiat-GM Powertrain. The representatives of the company believe that it was a good year for the Polish unit. After 11 months of this year, it noted 10-percent sales growth. In 2005, Henkel Polska had PLN 1.152 billion of sales and PLN 103m of net income.
