Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Spaniards have already invested EUR 50m and now are going to spend EUR 30m to build another wind farm in Poland.

Till the end of March, the wind farm in Kisielice with 40.5MW of capacity will be launched. Iberdrola built it for EUR 50m. The company has also said that it is building the second farm near Malbork which will be launched later this year.

“It will amount to 27 MW of power. The equipment has already been ordered”, Robert Sasin from Iberdrola Energia Odnawialna added.

He refused to tell about the value of this project. It may be estimated at EUR 30m, however.

Iberdrola bought MVV Eternegy Polska in 2005. The projects under way in Poland will enable the Spaniards to producer 800 MW of power. Iberdrola is going to invest EUR 3.2 billion in green energy within three years and in 2009 producer 7,000 MW of power. Iberdrola was close to acquiring ZEDO power plants but the privatization was cancelled by the government.
