Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – IDM listed brokerage is going to pay out PLN 4-5m of dividend and have an investment fund as its shareholder.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – IDM listed brokerage is going to pay out PLN 4-5m of dividend and have an investment fund as its shareholder.

IDM has good news for its investors.

“Last year’s forecasts should be met easily and even beaten. In 2006, we want to multiply our income”, Grzegorz Leszczynski, IDM CEO said.

In December, the brokerage with headquarters in Krakow, southern Poland, said that it would have PLN 9.2m (EUR 2.4m) of net income in 2005, while earlier estimates amounted to PLN 8m. The management want to share the income with shareholders.

“We want to spend PLN 4-5m for dividend but the final decision will be made by shareholders’ meeting”, Grzegorz Leszczynski who keeps the biggest number of votes (14 percent) said.

According to his proposal, the divided would amount to PLN 0.52-0.65 a share. IDM’s stocks are traded at PLN 17.3 at the moment.

The company, which specializes in IPOs and is going to conduct at least 5 of them this year, may soon get a new shareholder. The management would welcome a foreign investment fund.

“We are holding advanced talks and I believe we are close to their end”, Grzegorz Leszczynski assured.

IDM’s shares have increased nearly 70 percent since November.

“This is a very dynamic brokerage and its shares may still be of interest. Entering IDM’s shareholder structure would mean to a foreign fund an easier access to investments in our market”, Miroslaw Saj, BISE analyst said.
