IFS CCE needs cash and plans IPO in Warsaw

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Another foreign company is considering an IPO on the Polish bourse GPW. Scandinavian Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS), one of the biggest deliverer of management systems in the world is considering developing in our region.

IFS Central European headquarters, which supervises sales, implementation and operations in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Ukraine and Cyprus will be responsible for the new acquisitions including Bulgarian and Romanian companies. ‘An IPO is one of the scenarios we analyse. Shares of IFS CEE could be listed in Warsaw but also on the other bourses in the region. Much depends on the market conditions. A potential IPO is a matter of two-three years. Decisions have not been made yet’, Piotr Kozlowski, IFS CEE CEO said.

IFS focuses on several key markets including energy, production, heavy industry. In Poland, it has sales of EUR 15 m a year. In the region, sales amount to EUR 50 m. ‘IFS cannot afford to compete with SAP, Oracle of Microsoft, and this will not change’, Pawel Piwowar, the head of Oracle in Poland commented.Poland/Enterprises/IT/IPO
