K&K Capital Group sells Fischer Air Polska to Podroze TV

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Podroze TV have an airline in their portfolio. In 18 months both companies should be listed.

100 percent of Fischer Air Polska (FAP), the charter airline owned by Czech K&K Capital Group, was sold to Podroze TV.

“FAP was to us an investment with big potential. Airlines shortly became an important player in the Polish charter market with over 20 percent share. Yesterday’s transaction was a satisfactory conclusion of this investment”, Petr Lunak, K&K Capital Group representative said.

To Podroze TV the transaction means another stage of planned consolidation of the Polish tourism market. Podroze TV is owned by Carlson Private Equity fund.

“Our clients and passengers will not notice any difference”, Artur Jedrzejewski representing Carlson Private Equity assured.

Last year, FAP had 222,000 passengers. It forecast to increase its market share to 45 percent this year and planned increasing sales from PLN 100m (EUR 26m) in 2005 to PLN 300m.

Podroze TV have the following companies in its portfolio: TV channel, PES Travel touroperator and a majority stake in OPEN Travel Group. The company plans an IPO within 18 months.
