It will get over PLN 230m. Andrzej Szarawarski, the co-founder of TFS, and the former Ministry of Treasure, believes that those funds should be spent to develop the region. “The Ministry of Treasure should give TFS shares to the authorities of the voivodship”, he said.

Regional businessmen gossip that the Ministry of Treasure would rather support shipyards. “There are no such plans but there are many parties interested in those funds”, Stanislaw Speczik, deputy Minister of Treasury said. What planst TFS? Its CEO Tadeusz Wenecki has said recently that he would like those funds to be spent to support regional infrastructure including the airport in Pyrzowice, near Katowice, southern Poland.

It is the Minister of Treasure who will decide about the funds.
