These negotiations are well advanced. I believe that at least one investment will be concluded this year, Tomasz Czechowicz, MCI CEO said. The previous acquisitions include Hoopla.pl (internet distributor of home appliances equipment), Clix (client releations managing systems for small business), Optica (IT systems of information transmission and interactive entertainment) and Domzdrowia.pl (medicines sold in the internet).
Further acquisitions are very possible.
In 5-7 cases we are holding serious talks, Tomasz Czechowicz said.
The fund is analyzing 30-50 investment opportunities.
Our target is to increase the group to 20 companies at the end of 2006, the CEO added.
Today, MCI has 15 companies in its portfolio. The group plans PLN 5.56m (EUR 1.4m) of net income. In 2006, the net income should grow to PLN 8.34m.
