National Bank of Poland announces PLN 200m tender

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced a tender last Thursday worth PLN 200m (EUR 50.6m) to build a new safe and IT center. On 28 ha of land, a building of 21,800 square meters plus two additional buildings will be constructed.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The National Bank of Poland (NBP) announced a tender last Thursday worth PLN 200m (EUR 50.6m) to build a new safe and IT center. On 28 ha of land, a building of 21,800 square meters plus two additional buildings will be constructed. Three other existing buildings will be adjusted, security systems will be implemented including industrial TV, roads will be built and the land cleaned up.

NBP wants the contractors to have at least PLN 200m of annual sales and PLN 40m of credit scoring. Skanska, Strabag or Budimex, or the largest construction companies, fulfill these requirements. IT companies specializing in security systems and server centers will also be employed by NBP. The contract fproiveds for CCTV or ACC. Ster-Projekt (today ABG Ster-Projekt), Qumak-Sekom, and Computerland have experience in this field.

Offers may be submitted till May 10. Up to five companies will take part in the second round. NBP wants the construction works to start in the middle of the year. The contract is to be ended within two years.
