Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Opera investment fund has decided to fasten the consolidation of Novita and Lentex.

Opera TFI has applied to hold a GSM of Lentex carpet and fiber producer on July 9th. The investment fund would like to vote for capital increase and an exchange of newly issued shares into the stock of Novita, a company operating in the same sector. Opera funds control 10.5 percent of Lentex and 12.35 percent of Novita. Both companies are connected with Krzysztof Moska, a famous stock investor. Lentex already holds over 24 percent stake in Novita.

Opera wants Lentex to issue up to 1,043,155 shares of F series which would be offered to Novita shareholders in exchange for their shares. The shares would be exchanged at 1:1 ratio.

The market did not react to the news. The stock of both companies fell slightly on Wednesday, along with the majority of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
