Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – OSM Lowicz is planning acquisitions and investment projects which will let it reach PLN 600m (EUR 151.8m) of sales.

The dairy company from Lowicz, which is celbrating its 100 anniversary today, has become Poland’s third largest dairy producer as far as the amount of milk bought and sales are concerned. Its rivals Mlekpol and Mlekovita have sales of over PLN 1 billion each.

“Sales will grow to PLN 580-590m this year against PLN 540m in 2005. Milk production will grow to 300m liters against 275m liters”, Jan Dabrowski, OSM Lowicz CEO said.

In 2005, the company spent some dozen million zlotys for investments. Within two years, it will spend over PLN 50m.

“This is one of the fastest growing and one of the best managed dairy producers in Poland. It is located in central Poland. In my opinion, the company will double the amount of milk bought within five years”, Waldemar Bros, the deputy head of the National Association of Milk Companies commented.
