Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Polish chain of pizza restaurants has grown so big that it decided to expand abroad. Romania will be the first foreign country for Pizza Dominium.
Pizza Dominium, a pizza restaurant chain owned by Tomasz Plebaniak, with 50 restaurants, plans to launch 15 new ones in Poland this year and increase sales to PLN 100m (EUR 25.7m).
“We want to launch a logistic center for our chain. This year, we start operations in Romania. We will launch one or two restaurants in shopping malls”, Piotr Dzierzek, Pizza Dominium general director said.
There are plans to open 30-40 restaurants in Romania within five years.
“In 2008, we also plan to launch operations in Ukraine and Lithuania”, Piotr Dzierzek added.
Pizza Dominium is Poland’s third largest pizza restaurant chain, after TelePizza (100 restaurants) and Pizza Hut (52).
