PKO BP stays without its CEO

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Marek Gluchowski was appointed the supervisor of PKO BP while deputy CEO Rafal Juszczak became the temporary CEO.


The supervisory board of PKO BP was not able to choose the CEO for Poland’s largest bank yesterday. There were two strong candidates, Andrzej Klesyk and Maria Paslo-Wisniewska. On April 11th, Marek Gluchowski, the chairman of the board terminates his post as the temporary CEO, Rafal Juszczak was appointed one. Marek Gluchowski was delegated to ‘individual supervision activities’ over the management. Adam Skowronski will join the management till April 30th.


The process of choosing the CEO started in February and is not closed. There are five candidates for the post of the CEO and 20 candidates to two posts of members of the board. Another deadline for the supervisory board to end the process is April 20th.
