Poczta Polska post to offer contract worth PLN 30m

12 companies submitted their offers to deliver equipment to the IT center owned by Poczta Polska in Bydgoszcz. Five companies were rejected due to formal reasons. The contract is worth at least PLN 33m (EUR 8m). Softbank received the highest number of points. Four other consortia will be invited to take part in the tender, including Qumak-Sekom, Computerland, Intertrading Systems Technology and Talex. Wasko and Comarch were not invited, and Comarch is protesting against this decision.
“Comarch was rejected due to a trivial reason and it has the right to feel offended. The company protested at the Public Tender Office. Arbiters decided that the case should be again evaluated”, “PB” source close to the project said.
Comarch did not want to comment. Nor did Poczta Polska. It has evaluated Comarch offer again but as the lowest.
