Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Germanos and GTI , greek-owned dealers network of mobilephone equipment, denied considering a merger. Both companies declares to operate independently.

-Germanos and GTI are completely different and they cooperate with other operators - said Lefteris Maroulis, CEO of GTI

Germanos and GTI don't want to implement any combined brand or consolidate an oparating activity. They will continue the cooperation with Centertel and Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (PTC).

At the polish market it is not acceptable to sell the products that competes with each others. So that's why Germanos can not enter its brand to e.g. the Idea's stores. Last time two dealers of Idea has been merged ( Tell and Jadartela). They

are said to control 20-25 per cent of all PTK Centertel sales points. According to analysts the precess of consolidation at the polish market has just started.
