Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The U.S. Procter & Gamble is going to invest in Lodz special economic zone EUR 100m in a plant producing napkins, oils and shampoos for children. They have already submitted a letter of intent.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The U.S. Procter & Gamble is going to invest in Lodz special economic zone EUR 100m in a plant producing napkins, oils and shampoos for children. They have already submitted a letter of intent.

P&G plans its second investment project in Poland.

“We consider Poland as a location of production and service activity for our group. We have submitted a letter of intent. We say that we will invest over EUR 40m and create at least 200 new jobs. We will reveal further details along with the project”, Malgorzata Mejer, the public relations director in the Polish P&G unit said.

Andrzej Osniecki, the CEO of Lodz special economic zone, gives more details.

“P&G will spend EUR 100m and create 500 jobs. The new plant will produce baby care products”, Andrzej Osniecki said.

The U.S. concern has a plant in Warsaw already. The facility focuses on napkin production. Malgorzata Mejer said it is too early to say how the new project will influence the Warsaw plant.
