It is believed that Gdynia based systems integrator Prokom will sign a contract with the French Sofrecom this week as part of the development plan for a customer relations management (CRM) system for telecoms giant TPSA.
On Saturday TPSA announced in Poznan that a contract had been signed for the development of a pilot system with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sofrecom. The initial stage will cost PLN67m. Sofrecom is currently negotiating the details with Prokom. It would seem that the Polish partner can expect to earn around PLN20m for this part of the project although future stages will be much more lucrative.
It has taken TPSA a long time to get this far. Negotiations on the contract have been on going since October and it has been delayed by more than four months. An earlier tender which was announced last summer was cancelled. Poznań will be the base for the pilot project which will handle both business and private clients. The remainder of the CRM project will be developed on the basis of this experiment.© ℗
