The Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) has received offers in four tenders for didactic equipment as well as computers and software to be used in over 1,000 schools for disabled pupils. The tender for didactical equipment raised interest of only one producer – Elbox. The company has already won two similar tenders worth over PLN 90m. Most offers were submitted to delivered specialized and computer equipment for blind students. Thre consortia, including one lead by listed Emax, and Comarch fight for the order worth PLN 30-40m. In other tender for didactic equipment worth about PLN 30m, three offers were also submitted (also by Emax and Comarch).

The Ministry of Education must end the tenders soon because the orders must be made till the end of August. Otherwise, the EU funds will be lost. The tenders are partly financed from the ESF. Thanks to EU funds, over 50 tenders have been announced so far. Some dozen of them are being ended at the moment. IT companies have so far earned most in contracts for the Ministry of Education, including Comarch, ABG, Bull and Emax.
