Third consecutive decrease on the WSE

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Today, the indices in the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell for the third consecutive day. However, the volume of trade is decreasing, too. WIG20 fell 0.8 percent to 2,452.2. The political risk remains high. The Law and Justice (PiS) party may build coalition with Samoobrona populist party.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Today, the indices in the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell for the third consecutive day. However, the volume of trade is decreasing, too. WIG20 fell 0.8 percent to 2,452.2. The political risk remains high. The Law and Justice (PiS) party may build coalition with Samoobrona populist party. The so called mining law may be withdrawn from the tribunal – this was announced by Prime Minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz. The law is a threat to the country’s economic development.

Among WIG20 companies, only Netia telecom and Bank BPH managed to grow. The latter company jumped 9.9 percent. TP telecom lost 0.4 percent while shares worth PLN 130m (EUR 32.6m) changed hands.

Energoaparatura jumped 32.3 percent without any reason, probably speculations. Prochnik clothes producer keeps growing. Today it gained 14.8 percent. Bioton insulin producer dived 10.4 percent.
