Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – On the New Year’s Eve, the Japanese producer received permission for its project in the Walbrzych special economic zone.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – On the New Year’s Eve, the Japanese producer received permission for its project in the Walbrzych special economic zone.  

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland (TMMP) promises at least 255 new jobs in the document signed on December 31st.

“The company is going to invest PLN 534m (EUR 139.4m)”, Miroslaw Greber, the CEO of Walbrzych zone added.

In August, the company said it would invest EUR 145m and create 260 new jobs. The new plant will produce six speed gear boxes. TMMP capacity will grow from 600,000 to 720,000 gear boxes.

“Parts for engines and cars will be also produced there”, Miroslaw Greber added.
