Trade is very calm on Wednesday

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) - Today, investors were not eager to trad in the stock markte. Shares of blue chips worth PLN 245 m (EUR 58.6 m) changed hands. The WIG20 index rose 0.14 percent to 1,876.47.  TPSA telecom and PKO BP bank were the most traded companies with the volume of trade of PLN 65 m in each case. The latter firm did not change while TPSA rose 0.5 percent.

The WIG20 index rose 0.14 percent to 1,876.47.  TPSA telecom and PKO BP bank were the most traded companies with the volume of trade of PLN 65 m in each case. The latter firm did not change while TPSA rose 0.5 percent.

There will be a session on Friday but one may already assume that not much will change, either. PKN Orlen fuel giant which had its recommendation kept by Fitch, attracted PLN 20 m of transactions. Yesterday, the company finalised the acquisition of Czech Unipetrol.

Among smaller companies, Gant jumped 10.5 percent. Arksteel gained again after Donbas paid USD 10 m to take part in the tender to buy Huta Czestochowa steel plant. Today, the Ukrainians started talks in Czestochowa.

Polmos Bialystok vodka producer rose, while shares worth PLN 6.2 m changed hands. Polmos Lublin, Sobieski Dystrybucja and CEDC submitted corrected offers to buy d61 percent of Polmos Bialystok.
