Treasury realises 22 percent of year’s plans

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Privatisation gross revenues in the first seven months of this year, amounted to PLN 1.27 billion (EUR 312.4m), or 22.4 percent of this year’s plans, the ISB agency reported. In July, revenues amounted to PLN 369m, mainly due to the sale of Polmos Bialystok vodka producer for PLN 310m.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Privatisation gross revenues in the first seven months of this year, amounted to PLN 1.27 billion (EUR 312.4m), or 22.4 percent of this year’s plans, the ISB agency reported. In July, revenues amounted to PLN 369m, mainly due to the sale of Polmos Bialystok vodka producer for PLN 310m. “Within seven months, the budget received PLN 989m, or over 22 percent of the sum planned for 2005”, Agnieszka Dluska from the Ministry of Treasury said.

The Ministry made 45 transactions worth PLN 781 and received PLN 19m due from earlier projects. Direct privatisation brought PLN 158m to the budget. PLN 100m was paid by Central European Distribution Corporation, which is to acquire 61 percent of Polmos Bialystok.

The Treasury planned to have PLN 5.67 billion of revenues this year, PLN 4.44 billion for the budget. The Ministry expected privatisation revenues to amount to PLN 4.6 billion, or PLN 1.1 billion less than the government plans in the budget. The lacking funds will be made up by dividends, which will amount to PLN 1.9 billion, PLN 1.4 billion more than planned.
