Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Anther Ukrainian control is supposed to start in January. It will cover also Ubojnia Piorkowscy slaughter house, the only Polish plant allowed to start exports last year.

According to unofficial sources, Kiev inspectors will visit Polish meat producers in January to end the control of 23 plants started in December. So far, they have controlled 13 plants. Before Christmas, one Polish plant received export license: Ubojnia Piorkowscy.

“We were well prepared for the control. Inspection lasted 11 hours, inspectors split into three groups. One of them checked the plant, the second one checked poultry farmers, and the third one viewed documents”, Andrzej Piorkowski, the slaughterhouse co-owner said.

However, the control in his plant is not over yet.

“In January, the Ukrainians will visit us once more to check if we made up small things. For the time being, we will focus on their market, which is new to us”, Andrzej Piorkowski added.

The plants which have not been controlled yet as well as those which will be checked now are impatiently waiting for the results of the inspections. Further 50 plants are still hoping that Ukrainian inspectors will visit them as well.
