Warsaw Stock Exchange falls after recent gains

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – After two days of increases, the indices on the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell down. The WIG20 index lost 1.18 percent to 3,066. However, MIDWIG and WIRR ended with slight increases.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – After two days of increases, the indices on the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell down. The WIG20 index lost 1.18 percent to 3,066. However, MIDWIG and WIRR ended with slight increases.

Lotos lost 3.9 percent for the worst performance among blue chips. The following companies ended 2-3 percent down: Pekao bank, Prokom IT firm, BRE Bank and Bioton insulin producer. KGHM ended 1.3 percent down despite rising copper prices. TP telecom rose 0.2 percent. Elektrim, which jumped over 50 percent on Tuesday, today ended nearly 14 percent lower. Ciech, Lentex, EMF, Ferrum, IDM and Relpol rose.
