Warsaw stock exchange falls again, rebound possible on Monday

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The majority of the stock traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell again on Friday. If today’s U.S. session ends up, a rebound in Warsaw is possible. However, the WIG20 index will probably fall below 2,700 points in the future.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The majority of the stock traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange fell again on Friday. If today’s U.S. session ends up, a rebound in Warsaw is possible. However, the WIG20 index will probably fall below 2,700 points in the future.

The WIG20 index dropped 1.46 percent on Friday to 2,736.85 points. Shares worth PLN 1.31 billion changed hands. Analysts believe that indices in Warsaw may rebound early next week if the U.S. session ends up.

Wigometr, the stock sentiment index fell by 15 points to minus 15 points in the scale from plus 100 to minus 100, the Warsaw Stock Exchange said in its Friday communiqué. 30 percent of the polled entities expect that the WIG20 index will grow at the end of next week, while 45 percent believe it will fall down.
