Wednesday decrease of the Warsaw Stock Exchange is just temporary

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Warsaw Stock Exchange stopped after several days of increases. The WIG20 index fell 0.46 percent while WIG and MIDWIG did not exceed yesterday’s records. WIRR rose 0.2 percent to its new high.

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The Warsaw Stock Exchange stopped after several days of increases. The WIG20 index fell 0.46 percent while WIG and MIDWIG did not exceed yesterday’s records. WIRR rose 0.2 percent to its new high.

The WIG20 index was losing even 1.25 percent during the day. Shares of blue chips worth PLN 1.04 billion changed hands, 52 percent less than yesterday. Shares of TP telecom worth PLN 301m changed hands while the stock rose 1.2 percent to PLN 24.6, or 23.6 percent than before great third quarter results were published.

PKO BP lost 0.12 percent after it had gained 9.8 percent in the last three days and achieved their all time record of PLN 41.95. The volume of trade fell to PLN 250m from PLN 462m yesterday.
