No session in Tokio and a holiday in the USA discouraged the richest investors from trading in Warsaw. They did not react to the core inflation data published by the National Bank of Poland. The inflation in October amounted to 1.3 percent year on year, as expected, against 1.4 percent in September. This is another good news after on Monday the central statistical office published industrial production and PPI data. Thursday session was a small decrease after three days of increases. The volume of trade of blue chips fell 35 percent.

Individual investors, however, were very active. Centrostal Gdansk which yesterday had jumped 75 percent, today gained 5.9 percent. Drozapol-Profil jumped 14.6 percent and Stalprofil 6.3 percent. FAM said it would again issue shares and added 10.6 percent. Netmedia raised its financial forecast and ended 14.6 percent up.
