WIG20 has gained 1.37 percent this week

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – After 3 p.m., the WIG20 index jumped over 50 points up. Western European stock exchanges did the same. U.S. data helped the indices.

The 20 share blue chips index ended 0.81 percent up at 3,314.67 points. This week, it has gained 1.37 percent. BRE Bank was the best performer of this week with over 6 percent gains. Today, the stock gained 4 percent to its new all-time record of PLN 440. PGNiG gas monopoly has gained 5.3 percent. UniCredit CAIB raised its recommendation for the stock from ‘keep’ to ‘buy’ with PLN 4.45 as target price, up from PLN 3.75. The stock trades at PLN 3.97.

GTC homebuilder has lost 3.4 percent this week. The stock costs PLN 47.75. PKN Orlen fuel giant has shed 1.2 percent to PLN 44.2 this week. Changes in the management made on Thursday discouraged investors.
