Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The WSE followed Asian markets which ended up after positive Friday session in the Wall Street. The Polish stock market remains in the downward trend, however, and it may fall even deeper in upcoming days, analysts believe.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange opened up. In the second half of the day, worse labor market data came from the USA and indices fell. The WIG20 ended 0.86 percent up at 3,071.31 points. WIG added 0.69 percent to 49,429.45 points. Shares worth PLN 1.48bn changed hands.

Analysts expect that the rebound started 10 days ago will stop. Key data will come from banks publishing their 2007 results, including PKO BP and Pekao. The CEOs of banks which have already reported their results, including Millennium and BRE Bank, warned that 2008 incomes may be worse.
