Action may raise its forecast next year

Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Action may raise its forecast after the third quarter of its financial year.

Action, one of the biggest IT distributors, has already realized 83 percent of its net income forecast for the year 2007/08. In the first three quarters, it amounted to PLN 25.3m. Sales forecasts were met in 78 percent. After nine months of the fiscal year, they amounted to PLN 1.76bn.

“Next week, we will consider whether to change the financial forecast for the year 2007/08”, Piotr Bielinski, the CEO and shareholder of the company said.

Present forecasts amount to PLN 2.26bn of sales and PLN 30.5m of net income.

Action has for long been promising an acquisition. Negotiations are said to go on. The company wants to take part in tenders in EU countries. It is also taking part in many tenders to deliver equipment for the administration in Poland.
