Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – The CEO of the IT company is leaving. He does not want to become head of KGHM copper producer although there are such speculations.

Action’s CEO resigned yesterday and left the company immediately. He explained his decision with new plans.

“I have several offers, I will soon make decision”, Jacek Krawiec said.

There were rumors that he would leave before, also to head KGHM.

“I did not submit an offer this time”, Jacek Krawiec said, however.

In February 2006, he led negotiations to head the company but he was not appointed the CEO. Now, there are rumors that he would become a minister. He denies the news.

Jacek Krawiec has run Action since September 2006. Before, he was advisor to Piotr Bielinski, the co-founder and shareholder of the company. Earlier, he was CEO of Elektrim and Impexmetal.

Action stock rose 6.4 percent yesterday but it was probably not caused by the sudden resignation of the CEO. Jacek Krawiec leaves the company in good condition and with good perspectives. He has recently said that Action could raise forecasts and is looking for a big acquisition target. He has also managed to convince Opera investment fund to invest in Action.
