Ahlers to increase production
The German clothing concern Adolf Ahlers has announced that it is to invest in new factories. The company already is the majority shareholder in the Lubinex, Novomex, Romeo and Bielkon clothing concerns as well as having its own sales and distribution network Ahlers Poland. Ahlers Poland made sales of PLN120m in its last financial year ending in October 2000. This year it hopes to take PLN160m although it admits that the artificially high rate of the Polish currency is hurting it.
