Analysts suggest Orlen
Possible access of Hungarian MOL to Rafineria Gdańska can result faint position for PKN Orlen. Some of analysts are sure that the only right way is to annul the auction and give RG to PKN Orlen. Further action on RG and the offer submitted by MOL will bring more consolidating events on central European oil market. Problem is that when MOL’s offer will be chosen, the target is PKN Orlen. For sure PKN Orlen has no reason to be afraid of loosing its position in Poland, anyhow it could be painful for the position in Europe. Possibly RG purchase by PKN Orlen will not cause stronger, than it is now, monopolisation of Polish oil market.
