Asseco Poland, a group of IT companies which will soon merge with Prokom Software, promises to exceed analysts’ forecasts in the fourth quarter.
Asseco has initially estimated savings generated thanks to merger with Prokom. After administration and logistics are shifted to Rzeszow, and thanks to job cuts, the company will save PLN 18m (EUR 5m) annually. PLN 45m will be saved thanks to reducing costs of building rental, transport, and cars. The merger should be concluded till March 2008.
Asseco group is one of Europe’s biggest IT companies. It operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany to enumerate just some markets. It is worth over PLN 3.5bn. After the merger with Prokom, its capitalization will exceed PLN 5bn.
