Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Because of numerous appeals, in the process, which has been going on since January, the companies have not submitted their offers yet.
In the middle of January, the Poznan unit of Poczta Polska, the Polish Post, announced a tender to deliver and install software and hardware for the management center in Bydgoszcz. The value of this tender is evaluated at PLN 34m (EUR 8.6m). No offer has been submitted although many companies were interested in the contract.
“Offers could be submitted till February 20. 12 did it”, Magdalena Sitek, the chairman of the procurement committee said.
The following companies are interested in the contract: Baza System, BIW Koncept, Comarch, HP, Computerland, Qumak-Sekom, ABG Ster-Projekt, Softbank, Wasko, Spin and Talex.
After the offers were evaluated, Computerland and Softbank were left. Then, 9 companies protested and 7 appealed from the decision. Baza System’s and HP’s appeals were cancelled and seven companies were left in the proceedings. However, Comarch and Wasko had too few points to be invited to submit their offers. They appealed.
“Our references and financial conditions were evaluated too low”, Pawel Prokop, Comarch deputy CEO said.
The following companies will probably receive the invitation to present their offers: Softbank, Comarch, Qmak-Sekom, Computerland, Talex and Wola Info.
“The offers will be viewed in the first half of October”, Magdalena Sitek said.
She expected that there will be further appeals.
