Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – CEZ, Czech’s largest energy company, wants to take part in the privatisation of Polish energy sector. ‘We are interested in acquiring Polish electric energy distributors and producers’, Vladimir Schmalz, M&A; director in CEZ said. He added that the representatives of CEZ told about the plans Jacek Socha, Poland’s Treasury Minister last Wednesday.
‘We have EUR 3 billion for investments but apart from Poland, we want to invest in Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria’, CEZ director said. According to him, CEZ has high cash-flow, so it will easily finance investments.Poland/Enterprises/Energy
