SkyEurope, the Slovakian answer to Easy Jet and Ryan Air, the first firm in the region offering no thrills cheap flights, has announced that it wants to open connections linking Bratislava with Warsaw and Kraków.

The company has announced that it would like to introduce the service in 2003 taking advantage of the large Polish community in Vienna.

The company believes that its flights could offer a price to compete with road and rail operators but reduce travelling time from ten hours to 75 minutes.
