Jerzy Małyska, the former head of fuel concern CPN which was merged into PKN Orlen a couple of years ago, is urging the government to make a decision on the future of the Gdańsk refinery. Speculation on whether or not it is to be merged into PKN Orlen as part as the consolidation of the industry is doing it no good. Decisions have to be made and 18 months of waiting for Rotch Energy to come up with the cash is clearly no way forward.
