Warsaw (Puls biznesu) – You will secure your assets, avoid taxes, be anonymous – there are the arguments Forum TFI uses to encourage the rich to invest. The fund hopes to raise PLN 1.5bn.

Forum TFI, an investment fund company independent from banks manages nine funds already. The company launched operations at the end of May and beginning of June with five funds. Now, it has approval from 10 more funds to represent them. All of them are close-end funds, founded for a single investor – a company or person. Over half of them are tailor made for specific rich Poles.

“We think differently from other investment fund companies. We don’t focus on founding funds for everybody. Our close-end funds are more like trusts. Wealthy people are our clients looking for a company to manage their assets. They expect we will provide favorable tax and legal solutions”, Wieslaw Oles, one of Forum TFI founders and its chairman said.

Forum TFI is trying to convince millionaires to shift their assets, including stock or intangible assets, to the fund. This solution is favorable as far as taxes are concerned. The fund does not have to pay tax from the income generated on the stock exchange. This fund may be an alternative to companies founded in tax heavens.

In order to become Forum TFI client, one has to have PLN 50m of assets. The fund’s owners estimate that there are several thousand potential clients.
